Himachal Pradesh University Distance Education Admission 2024: The HPU was prepared on 22 July 1970 in the northern state of India: Himachal Pradesh. It is regarded as one of the region’s best institutions in distance learning. The university has been accredited and approved by NAAC and UGC. University’s distance branch covers ug, pg degree, diploma, and post-diploma programs in various streams.

HPU ODL comprises arts & humanities, language, education, commerce, business administration, information technology, science, etc., streams. HPU Distance Education ICDEOL Eligibility

Admission to Himachal Pradesh ODL programs shall be offered on the eligibility given below.

• BA

• • Plus, two examinations passed or equivalent from a state or central board or approved university established by the law in India.
  • The Candidate must have passed four written subjects in English.

• BCom

• • After passing +2 from a recognized board/university, admission to BCom’s first year shall be made.
  • Either Maths/Economics must remain a compulsory subject.

• MBA

• • Candidates must complete an ug or bachelor’s degree with 50 percent marks from UGC approved college or university.
  • 45 percent is applicable for SC/ST Candidates.
  • Admission will be made on the merit list.

• DDS

• • A One-year Diploma in Data Science admission can be made after passing graduation with 50 percent aggregate marks.

H.P. University Distance Education Admission Process

The HPU ODL admission process will begin in the first week of July. Candidates who wish to apply for the ug and pg programs of HPU will be able to fill up online/offline forms. To avoid mistakes while filling out an application form, one must follow the instructions given below.

HPU ICDEOL Fees

The fee structure for every course in HPU IDDEOL differs just as below.

• BA

• • The first, second year, and third fees for the HPU Board Candidates in BA are INR 5000 and 3400.
  • The other board candidates will need to deposit a complete fee of INR 8450 for the three-year degree program.
