DU Admission 2024: Delhi University was established 100 years ago in 1922 as a public university in New Delhi.     DU Admission 2024-25

    Delhi University Admission 2024-25 will begin online from the first week of August. Students can fancy their chances to apply at UG, PG, degree, diploma, and Ph.D. program by visiting the DU online admission portal at du.ac.in. 

    The admission process shall begin for traditional and professional programs like BA, B.Com, MBA, MEd, and more. All admission will be offered on merit prepared upon academic marks or entrance. Students who have recently passed the 10+2 or equivalent can apply to the UG program without the need for an entrance test. In contrast, students who are aiming to get admission to PG will need to pass the DU entrance test. 

    The university conducts DUET PG, DU B.Ed ET, and DU M.Ed ET to grant seats at the respective degree like MA, BEd, and MEd. All aspirants will need to secure valid marks in DUET PG to get admission to the master’s degree program. Qualifying state and national level entrance tests like MAT, CMAT, or CAT will make individuals eligible for admission to MBA programs. MBA applied students will need to appear in group discussion followed by a personal interview for admission.

    DU Ph.D. admission relies on a master’s degree and entrance test performance. Here students must secure a minimum of 55 percent in master’s or MPhil programs. Admission of eligible students is followed by an entrance test + interview. The university accepts the qualifying marks of UGC-NET, JRF, and SLET. DU Ph.D. admission application form will soon be available on the official portal. An online application form will require the personal and academic information of the students.

    DU Courses Eligibility Criteria

    BA Hons English

    • The applicant should have scored 45% or equivalent in the qualifying exam.
    • It is mandatory to include English subjects in the best of the Four.
    • Merit list of DU BA Hons English is prepared on the basis of “Best Four.”

    B. Voc. in Printing Technology (Bachelor of Vocational)

    • An aggregate of 40 percent in the qualifying exam.
    • One language is either Hindi or English.
    • Merit list of B. Voc. Printing Tech is prepared on the best four of the subjects.

    LLM

    • Qualified in LLB degree from a recognized university.
    • Secured 50% (General), 45% (OBC), and 40% (SC/ST) percent.

    M.Ed

    • Students should have passed any such as B.Ed, B.Sc B.Ed, BA B.Ed etc.
    • UG and Master’s degree program scores must be 50% percent minimum.
